Daunting Phrases Brings Caution Amongst Ninjas

It isn’t easy being a Ninja Freelancer. There are some battles that seem too difficult to conquer. One obstacle you want to avoid is that sheisty individual perpetrating to be an actual client that has no intention ever paying you for your mission. Instead there busy trying to have you do countless projects for free or take your ideas and use them as their own without so much as even giving you credit or a mention. There are ways to avoid painful and fruitless missions such as these. You can do so by first looking out for key phrases. Once you hear any of the below statements it is then you may want to re-evaluate if the mission/project is worth taking. Here are those phrases of caution:

- This project is not a paying project. However, if you complete this one project for us it will be great exposure for you. The exposure is guaranteed to open doors for you, which will bring future paid projects.

- Due to a tight budget we are asking that you complete the project for us and once we profit we will then pay you.

- If you are willing to do this project for this (lower than market) price then you we will guarantee you the next project at (market) price.

- It is our policy not to pay until we receive the final product.
A contract is not necessary for this simple project, besides were just not comfortable with contracts.

- Invoice us once you turn over the project to us.

- The previous Freelancer did the same project for this amount why can’t you match the same price.

- Currently we are still strategizing and conceptualizing, “We aren’t sure if we are ready to move forward just yet, just leave the work you have done thus far for us to review.”

- Yes we received your finished product and all though we love you work the project is currently now on hold or cancelled.
